Delivery Policy

1. Introduction

1.1 In this policy we set out details of the delivery methods, periods and charges that apply to orders for our products made through our website or by telephone or email.

1.2 This policy shall not create legally enforceable rights and obligations; rather, our usual practice in relation to the delivery of products is indicated in this policy.

2. Geographical limitations

2.1 We will usually be able to deliver to the following countries and territories: England, Scotland and Wales.

2.2 We may from time to time agree to deliver products to other countries and territories.

3. Delivery methods and periods

3.1 The methods that we use to deliver our products, and the time periods within which delivery is usually completed, are as follows:

(a) if your delivery address is in England, Wales, or Scotland (Central and Borders), or the Isle of Wight, you will automatically be assigned our APC service, and the typical period for delivery currently is 2 - 5 working days;

(b) if your delivery address is in the Remote Scottish Mainland, Scottish Islands (Offshore), delivery times range from 2-7 days.

3.2 To qualify for same-day dispatch, your order must be received onto our system by 11am GMT Monday-Thursday.

3.3 Orders placed on a Friday will typically be sent on a Monday; orders placed on a Saturday/Sunday will be sent on a Tuesday.

3.4 The delivery periods set out in this Section 4 are indicative only, and whilst we will make every effort to ensure that you receive your delivery in good time, we do not guarantee delivery before the end of the stated period.

3.5 We may conduct fraud screening checks before dispatching the product, and these checks may delay your delivery. If the delivery is likely to be delayed as a result of fraud screening checks, we will notify you.

3.6 Collection in person is available from 1 Bishopstoke Road, Eastleigh. A member of our team will notify you when your order is ready for collection.

4. Delivery charges

4.1 Delivery charges will be calculated by our website and automatically applied to your order during the checkout process.

4.2 Applicable delivery charges will depend upon the location of the delivery address and weight of the products in your order.

4.3 Our delivery charges are as follows:

(a) in respect of orders that overall weigh up to and including 20.0kg, a base rate of £5.00 per order will be applied;

(b) in respect of orders that weigh over 20.0kg, an additional rate in increments of 10.0kg will automatically apply, as follows;

(c) UK Mainland, Scottish Mainland and Scottish Borders: £2.50;

(d) Remote Scottish Mainland & Scottish Offshore: £3.50;

(e) Isle of Wight: £4.00;

4.4 The areas we deliver to outside of the UK mainland will incur an automatic surcharge as follows:

(a) Scottish Mainland and Scottish Borders: £1.00;

(b) Remote Scottish Mainland: £6.00;

(c) Scottish Offshore: £15.00;

(d) Isle of Wight: £15.00;

5. Delivery problems

5.1 If you experience any problems with a delivery, please contact us using the contact details that we publish on our website.

5.2 If our delivery service provider is unable to deliver your products, and such failure is your fault, and you do not collect your products from our delivery service provider within the relevant time limit, we may agree to arrange for re-delivery of the products; however, we reserve the right to charge you for the actual costs of re-delivery (even where the initial delivery was free of charge).

5.3 An indicative list of the situations where a failure to deliver will be deemed your fault is set out below:

(a) you provided the wrong address for delivery;

(b) there is a mistake in the address for delivery that was provided;

(c) the address for delivery is not reasonably accessible;

(d) the address for delivery cannot safely be accessed;

(e) if in-person receipt is not required, there is no easy and secure means of leaving the products at the address for delivery and there is no person available to accept delivery; or

(f) if in-person receipt is required, there is no person available at the address for delivery to accept delivery and provide a signature.
